Ask in the STEAM reception for directions.
Walk past the main STEAM entrance to the far end of the car park and you will see the Great Western Hall on your left.
Car Parking
Car parking is located at the nearby Swindon Designer Outlet North Car Park.
The parking is £1 for 0-5 hours, £12 for 5-12 hours
FREE PARKING if you buy a ticket for the show and reduced entry ticket for STEAM.
(STEAM ENTRY: Adults £6.00, Children 3-16 £5, Under 3 - free)
Car Parking for Disabled Visitors
There is FREE car parking available at the front of the Museum for STEAM visitors who display a valid Blue Badge. Please note, STEAM cannot accept liability for vehicles parked in front of the Museum.
Travelling by Rail
Swindon is easily reached via the London Paddington to Bristol line. STEAM is 10-20 minutes' walk from Swindon Railway Station.
Turn right outside the Station, stay on the right hand side pedestrian path and keep going until you come to a pedestrian sign that directs you through the GWR tunnel that connects to the Churchward site. Your route will pass English Heritage and Thomas Homes apartments, soon leading to STEAM Museum.
