Simon Webb Artisan

Hand turned fine writing instruments and jewellery

Simon Webb was born and raised in Wiltshire into a family of craftsmen. Simon’s grandfather worked as a sign writer in the famous Swindon GWR works. Simon’s father was in his turn talented at creating things and it’s fair to say that Simon learned much of what he knows at his father’s knee.
After many years working in Information Technology, Simon decided to give up coding and follow his passion for crafting and turn his attention and skills from the motherboard to the lathe. Though his IT skills are not being neglected, as Simon is a curator and director of Swindon’s Museum of Computing.
The pens and gentleman’s cufflinks that Simon Webb hand turns in his workshop are sought after items and destined to be family heirlooms. Made with a mix of materials each one comes with a certificate of authenticity guaranteeing the provenance of the wood and certifying their hand-made status.
